Morning skincare routine for mamas

I am the first person who would read a post like this and ask, when would you get time to pamper yourself at home when you have kids. Well I have to tell you this, as mothers we forget to care for ourselves. We feel we need to put others needs before ours, which you should if you're a mother. But don't forget, you need to be able to make time for yourself.

I stopped taking care of skin during my first pregnancy as I suffered with Hyperemesis Gravidarum. This condition also known as severe vomiting. I would be vomiting daily up until my labour so you can imagine how exhausted I was in my pregnancies. I had no energy left to look after myself. 

Over the last few years I have noticed that my skin has been looking so dull and I l always look tired. Even when I'd get the chance to wear makeup, it wouldn't set right on my skin. I had been using the glow tonic on and off. Everytime I've used it I've noticed the difference it would make to my skin. Now after having 3 boys I decided I need to look after my skin. The first step to a skincare routine is to cleanse. I use the Glow Mud Cleanser, which is a deep pore cleaning mud. It is recommended to use this product in the morning and in the evening after cleansing.

I would recommend the next step if you have very dry skin. The Rose Oil Blend is 'infused with a powerful complex of youth-preserving oils to help improve skin's elasticity and glow'. It is enriched with natural ingredients such as rosehip, jojoba, pomegranate seed and rose geranium oils. This oil helps to nourish the complexion and leaves your skin feeling so soft. You only need a couple of drops which should be massaged onto cleansed and toned skin. This is suitable for all skin types. It is recommended to use this in the morning and in the evening. 

The Glowtion Day Dew is a moisturiser and a brightening lotion which creates a natural glow. It helps to nourish and gives a boost to dull skin. The 'lavender oil clams, kaolin purifies, and mica brightens.' Apply a small amount after cleansing and toning. This is suitable for all skin types. It is recommended to use this in the morning only.
